Curriculum Studies & Studies in Applied Linguistics

Important Notes

  • MA & PhD students must complete a program planning form with their supervisor, then enroll themselves in the courses they choose. Professional MPEd students will be enrolled in their mandatory courses by our staff a couple of weeks before the start of classes.
  • Course descriptions are available here: MA & PhD, and professional MPEd, please pay close attention to course pre/anti-requisites
  • In certain circumstances, students from another program may take a priority or restricted course, space permitting (e.g. MA student taking an MPEd course as an elective). Contact your Graduate Affairs Assistant for more information and assistance with enrolling.
  • Students can take a maximum of 3 classes per term.To request permission to register for an additional 4th course, students must contact their Graduate Affairs Assistant.
  • Students do not need to enroll in milestones. They do not appear as a class in Student Centre, but will show on students' academic records once completed.
  • Independent Reading & Research (IRR) courses must be approved by the Graduate Programs Office before students can be enrolled. These are completed individually with a supervisor and do not have assigned class times. Please review the IRR Guide and play close attention to the deadlines.
  • Important Dates for the academic year can be found here.

**Timetable subject to change.
