This Faculty Seminar Series will feature Dr. Albert Malkin presenting on Polarization as a Feature, Not a Bug: How Shifting Contexts Shape Political Discourse.

Societal polarization, a wicked problem, undermines democracy and social cohesion. The current evolving information landscape requires examination, given that political discourse results in real-world changes in the way systems operate (for better or worse). This presentation will provide an overview of how concepts from culturo-behaviour and contextual behaviour science can be applied to examine sociocultural dynamics.

Light refreshments will be served.
