From Start to Finish: Practical Approaches to Completing Your Dissertation
Join Dr. Lisa Anne Floyd as she shares practical strategies and tips for completing your dissertation. In this session, participants will learn how to:
- use Mendeley - a reference manager - to organize articles in a personal academic library and to generate APA citations and reference lists efficiently,
- leverage AI tools to support your literature review process, and
- stay focused and motivated during the final stages of your dissertation.
Lisa Anne Floyd holds a PhD in Curriculum Studies with a focus on coding in teacher education from Western University. She is an Assistant Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University where she teaches STEM courses in the Bachelor of Education program. A recognized educator, researcher, and speaker, she is passionate about integrating coding and emerging technology meaningfully and purposefully into mathematics and science classrooms.
