The Centre for Research on Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (CRTLHE) promotes an evidence-based approach to teaching and learning in post-secondary education. Under the leadership of Dr. Debra Dawson, the Centre consists of staff and faculty members from a variety of disciplinary perspectives who engage in research designed to advance the understanding and, ultimately, the practice of teaching and learning in higher education. The research focus on teaching and learning is broadly defined including curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular endeavours. This expansive lens allows a comprehensive understanding of teaching and learning within the post-secondary context. The Centre is a collaborative partnership with the Faculty of Education.
