July 07, 2008

A multi-disciplinary team from Western’s faculties of Education, Health Sciences and Medicine has been successful in their proposal to “establish a network for the interdisciplinary scholarship of professional education” with a grant of $84,400 over three years. Led by the Faculty of Education’s Alan Pitman and Kinesiology’s Anne Kinsella, the network will launch in October when Professor Gail Whiteford, past director of the Australian Institute for Research into Professional Practice, Learning and Education, is visiting London from Australia. The Faculty of Education team also includes Bob MacMillan, Kathy Hibbert and Teresa Van Deven.
