Song 4 - Circle or triangle?

Grades 2-3 children explored: What if there were too many shapes in the world and one of the had to go? What if we narrowed down to the circle or the triangle? And, what if it was up to you to choose? See a video of the teacher describing the lesson.

I’m a circle, I can roll
I can spin, I’m in your eyes
I’m a wheel, I’m like the Sun
And like the Earth

I’m a circle, I am  smooth
In the centre, of a button
I’m in a ball, I’m sure you know
I’m bouncy

Why did the circle have to go?
I’m so mad, and so sad
Why did the circle have to go?
I’m so sad

If the triangle leaves for good
Things will change It’s understood
No ice cream cones
No pointy nose

No snazzy pizza
No Christmas trees
No yield signs
And so much more

I want them both, I cannot choose
Neither one, can I lose
I want them both, I cannot choose
Triangle or circle
