The IMPACT group is located in Room 1138 in the Faculty of Education Building.The group serves the Communications, Project Management, Student Recruitment, Marketing, eLearning & Technology needs of the students, faculty, and staff at the Western University Faculty of Education.
Our instructional designers (firstname.lastname@example.org) are e-learning experts and help onsite and online instructors plan, build, and deliver their courses. It is highly recommended that instructors consult with them early in the course development process for technology guidance, insight into student expectations, and ideas that other instructors have successfully implemented in the past.
Instructors also use our instructional designers as moderators in their live sessions to address any technology issues that might arise during a class. Contact them to book moderation support as early as possible to ensure they are available for your course dates.
The IMPACT group also includes several other functions such as marketing, communications, recruitment, project management, and technology professionals. Instructors can consult with these areas as needed (ex. branding questions, communication strategies, technology solutions, visualization ideas, etc.).
