What is the Teachers' Wall of Fame?
The Teachers’ Wall of Fame gives public recognition to exemplary end-of-career or retired teachers in the City of London or surrounding area. Teachers are nominated by former students and are chosen for the Wall of Fame by a selection committee composed of two professors of education, a representative of the London Public Library, and two members of the community.
Each year, two teachers are inducted into the Wall of Fame on World Teachers’ Day. The photographs and biographies of inductees are hung on the Wall of Fame which is located in the Central Branch of the London Public Library.
