On Saturday, September 8, 2007, the Continuing Teacher Education office held its fall session for AQ instructors. The session was well attended and included time to play with the software.

This year, in addition to launching our new platform (eCampus3), we were especially pleased to announce the results of the 'Additional Qualifications' Instructors' Award of Excellence' nominations. We received 124 nominations, naming 58 of our instructors as worthy recipients for this award. A sampling of the comments received follows.

"Empassioned about the topic, she provided thought-provoking think-abouts and comprehensive postings that made all participants sit up and type! Not just a lover of theory, she illustrated time and again that she takes theory into practice while still encouraging us not to get overwhelmed by what we aren't doing and move to what we can be doing. Her respectful responses to our postings and timely input encouraged participants to take part and speak their mind. She was always open to issues and concerns that we wanted to explore while not losing the framework that she had set in place."

Congratulations to UWO's Outstanding Continuing Teacher Educators, Polly Stringle (Art) and Linda McKee (School Librarianship).
