Diploma in Education

The Diploma in Education program prepares candidates with a technical background to teach broad-based technology courses at secondary schools (Grades 9 to 12). An undergraduate degree is not required to participate in the program.

This is a one-year, full-time program that runs from September until April. To apply, you must present documented training, experience, and qualifications related to one of the following broad-based Technological Education areas:

  • Communications Technology
  • Computer Technology
  • Construction Technology
  • Green Industries
  • Hairstyling and Aesthetics
  • Health Care
  • Hospitality and Tourism
  • Manufacturing Technology
  • Technological Design
  • Transportation Technology
