Bachelor and Diploma Program
Submitting Transcripts
Official transcripts from any university attended must be sent directly from the granting institution to The University of Western Ontario by the application deadline. Applicants cannot deliver their own transcripts. The University of Western Ontario does not accept notarized transcripts.
If you attended a university in Ontario, your transcript must be ordered through the TEAS Transcript Request Form (TRF). When ordering, please select the "immediately" option in the form. Graduates from The University of Western Ontario who apply to UWO need not order or send UWO transcripts; however, UWO graduates must order transcripts for institutions attended prior to or after UWO.
If you attended a university outside of North America, please have your home institution send an original copy of your transcript directly to the Registrar's Office. If applicable, the accompanying diploma or level of secondary school achievement must also be submitted. A certified translation of transcripts in languages other than English or French is required. Translations must be accompanied by the original document on which the translation is based. Acceptable translations are listed below:
-
made by or certified by the consulate, high commission or embassy to Canada of the country which issued the documents
-
a Canadian embassy, consulate or high commission in the country from you emigrated
-
an accredited translator (Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario – http://www.atio.on.ca )
Interpretation of Academic Credentials
As all applicants to the Bachelor of Education Program must meet the same admission criteria, we may require you to provide additional information so that your out-of-country transcript may be fully evaluated.
