Office of the Registrar Exam Schedule: You can now add a tool to your OWL section that will display the date, time, and location of your course's final exam. The tool allows you to display the official information for exams that are scheduled through the Office of the Registrar. If any of the details should change - they're updated automatically such that your students always see the correct information. You can add this tool by clicking on the "Add Content Link" button under the Build tab and selecting "Registrar Scheduled Exam". You can add this tool by clicking on the "Add Content Link" button under the Build tab and selecting "Registrar Class Schedule". Wiki: As of September 2008, you can add a wiki space to your OWL section. Wikis are a powerful and flexible collaborative tool for easily creating and editing content. You could use a wiki for group authoring, peer review, or to track group projects. You can add this tool by clicking on the "Add Content Link" button under the Build tab and selecting "Wiki Space".

Turnitin: Did you know that you can add a Turnitin assignment dropbox to your OWL section? You can facilitate student access to Turnitin by giving them access directly from OWL - there's no need to give students the course password, they can access it just like any
other OWL tool. You can add this tool by clicking on the "Add Content
Link" button under the Build tab and selecting "Turnitin Assignment".

Wimba Collaboration Tools: Wimba is a suite of online communication tools. It includes a virtual classroom that can be used to hold live online classes, office hours, guest lectures, webcasts and meetings.
Other tools allow you to easily post audio podcasts, use audio/text based discussion boards, provide audio-based projects and post voice announcements. If you are interested in using Wimba, please contact wimba-adm@uwo.ca
