A/V Equipment Classroom Support

The A/V Equipment and Services area of the Media and Information Services Department provides a range of services within the Faculty of Education (FOE). These include:

a) Provision of an a/v equipment loaning service to members of faculty, instructors and to students currently enrolled in courses offered by the Faculty of Education. Students must present a current UWO/FOE student card in order to book any equipment.

b) A/V equipment rental service to groups from outside the Faculty of Education using classrooms within the John George Althouse College Faculty of Education building.

c) Technology support for instructional and external users of the 645 seat auditorium located in the building.

Seating Capacity of Classrooms in Faculty of Education (FOE)

There are a number of different types of classroom spaces within the FOE building.

In addition to these classrooms there is a gymnasium with a mezzanine plus a cafeteria which can seat 200.

All hardware and technical support questions must be addressed to staff in A/V Equipment and Services in the Media and Information Services Department at the Faculty of Education, UWO.

A/V Equipment Rental Rates

All equipment rental rates include set-up in the classrooms. Equipment may not be used outside of the building unless special arrangements have been made with the Manager, Media and Information Services Department.
