Crossing the River Game - Play now!

`
Instructions Parent Information

The object of the game is to have all your boats float down the river, out of their docks, before your opponents.

Crossing the River game

There are twelve boats lined up on the right side of the screen. Click, hold and drag each boat into a dock above. When all of your boats have been placed in the docks above, click the 'All Aboard' button to show the computer's boats and the dice. There are two sets of dice, one for you, and one for your opponent. Click on the 'Roll your Dice' button. Add the total of your dice, and drag a boat out of the corresponding dock number. Let go of the boat when you reach the middle of the river. It will float down steam and disappear. You will only be able to drag the correct boat out of its dock. All the other boats will not move. If there is more than one boat in the dock roll your mouse over each, and drag away the boat that has a hand pointer.

After your turn is complete, click the 'Computer's Dice' button. If there is a boat in the corresponding dock, it will automatically float into the middle of the river and flow down stream. See whose docks get emptied first!

You can play up to 3 levels with the computer or you can play the game with a friend or parent.
