Course Description

This course will include a specialist level of study of practical strategies for the teaching of Roman Catholic Religious Education including course design and evaluation at both the school and system-wide level. The leadership role at the school and board level will be emphasized.

Admission Requirements

1. A Certificate of Qualification indicating successful completion of Part 2; (It is not necessary to submit a hard copy as proof can be obtained from the Public Register of the Ontario College of Teachers.)

2. Evidence of at least two years (388 days) of successful teaching experience, of which at least one year (194 days or 110 teaching hours) is in Ontario in the subject area, as certified by an appropriate supervisory officer (superintendent, not principal). Teaching experience MUST BE COMPLETED prior to the first day of the course.
