Art (Visual Arts) Part 2  EDUC 5701
Course Description

This course will explore current trends in Visual Arts education. Candidates may choose a division (Primary, Junior, Intermediate, Senior) of the school system for emphasis in the program development unit, studio workshop sessions and individual project design.

Admission Requirements

1. A Certificate of Qualification indicating successful completion of Part 1 (or is deemed to have Part 1 based on holding Intermediate or Senior qualifications in the subject area); (It is not necessary to submit a hard copy as proof can be obtained from the Public Register of the Ontario College of Teachers.)

2. Evidence of at least one year (194 days) of successful teaching experience, as certified by an appropriate supervisory officer (superintendent, not principal). Teaching experience MUST BE COMPLETED prior to the first day of the course.
