The course will focus on instructional methods for teaching business in Senior grades. Consideration will be given to curriculum development and appropriate supporting materials.

1. A Certificate of Qualification indicating successful completion of Part 1 (or is deemed to have Part 1 based on holding Intermediate or Senior qualifications in the subject area);(It is not necessary to submit a hard copy as proof can be obtained from the Public Register of the Ontario College of Teachers.)

2. At least two full year university courses in the area of business specialization for which the qualification is sought or appropriate other courses as approved by Continuing Teacher Education; (An official transcript(s) is required. Fax a copy to us upon registration AND follow up with an official transcript sent directly from the issuing institution. Note that course weights vary across institutions. Courses weighted as 3 credits are likely to be half courses.)

3. Evidence of at least one year (194 days) of successful teaching experience as certified by an appropriate supervisory officer (superintendent, not principal). Teaching experience MUST BE COMPLETED prior to the first day of the course.
