Education Research Day was held on Wednesday, April 9th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Great Hall, and included a wine and cheese reception. This event was generously supported by Dean Julia O’Sullivan and Research Western.
Deadline Reminders
- Thursday, March 20, 2008
is the deadline for researchers who have decided to present
an ABSTRACT POSTER (18" X 24") from a recently published
work. Posters are to be emailed to
edu-researchday@uwo.ca.
Templates for this purpose are available
here.
We will print your poster and return it to you a week before the
exhibit (April 2).

Thursday, March 20, 2008. If you have decided to contribute PowerPoint slides to the SLIDE SHOW – MASSED FORMAT please email your slide show to edu-researchday@uwo.ca.
- Friday, March 28, 2008. BOOKS
for the book display are to be given to Stephanie Macleod, Graduate
Programs and Research Office, Room 1161. (Please ensure that your
books are identified for ease of return.)
- Wednesday, April 9, 2008. Exhibitors are asked to bring their posters and other exhibit items to the Great Hall between 2:15 and 2:45 p.m.
Please note that it is the exhibitor’s responsibility to bring, watch over, and remove their own equipment, posters, props, etc. If you are unable to attend please make arrangements for a colleague to assume these responsibilities.
Several formats are provided to faculty, staff and students to facilitate participation. A general description of each format is posted on this page. Regardless of which format you choose, you are asked to please submit the ‘Intent to Present’ form by Monday, March 3, 2008. Please use this form.
Please send your ‘Intent to Present’ form by Monday, March 3, 2008 to Dr. Elizabeth Nowicki (enowick2@uwo.ca) if your work is in the area of Counseling, EPSE, or Policy/Leadership. If your work is in the area of Curriculum or GESJ, please send your 'Intent to Present' form to Dr. Shelley Taylor (taylor@uwo.ca). If you have any questions about submitting your work, please contact Dr. Nowicki or Dr. Taylor.
