Network and Webservices
The IT staff in the Media and Information Services Department provide support for a clustered
Windows 2003 server network infrastructure, with a high capacity Legacy storage array, running
an SQL server database. Over 200 Windows XP Pro and Vista clients are supported on a locally
administered domain. An extensive hardware and software web infrastructure has been developed
to support the Faculty's web based full and partial distance education Additional
Qualifications and Graduate courses.
The faculty also supports a number of provincial services for the
Ontario Software Acquisition Program Advisory Committee.
