About the Centre for Inclusive Education
The Centre for Inclusive Education, located in the Faculty of Education at the University of Western Ontario, is a research association composed of faculty members, research associates, and graduate students who share an interest in inclusive education research. The goal of the Centre is to encourage collaborative investigations of theories and practices in an effort to enhance the educational opportunities of all students with exceptionalities. The Centre is committed to sharing research findings and resources with academics, educators, and families. This website includes information on the Centre for Inclusive Education team members, including their research interests and recent publications. In addition, it presents research results as well as descriptions of current projects that are underway at the Centre.
All the pages on our website have been designed to meet the World Wide Web Consortium's (W3C) XHTML 1.0 Transitional standard. They have been checked with the W3C's Validation Service and have passed. This enables
- Web browsers to display our web pages properly.
- People with vision problems can use computer programs - such as screen readers - to understand the information on our web pages. When a web page conforms to a W3C standard, the web page is displayed properly, and these programs are able to accurately provide the user with all the information on the web page. This makes our site more inclusive for the people who stop by.
